Sound It Out — 2016

Sound It Out explores the relationship between sound, vibration and visual perception, considering how something invisible can be made present through material and time-based forms.

Through video, sound and resin works, the project investigates the physical qualities of sound, rhythm, frequency, repetition and resonance and how these can create traces, movements and impressions beyond what is immediately heard.

The work asks how sound can become visible, and how listening can extend beyond the ear into a sensory experience of space and material.
